Wildflower in Franklin, North Carolina

Trekking up snaking mountain roads, passing the local goodness of

fudge stores and gem mines, the quiet town of Franklin, North Carolina
is peaceful path to a piercing panorama.

From 3,600 feet above this small town filled with southern character

and a sense of poise, stands an 2200-acre, gated development with the
future home sites of locals and future residents alike.

The Wildflower Development boasts an impressive resume of 198 finished home sites with driveways, underground utilities and septic permits already in place.

Each site claiming its own unique view of The North Carolina Smoky

Mountains, this luxury mountain resort sought new ownership in 2011,
after surviving a road failure just 3 years earlier.

Fortunately the purchaser of the resort, Leed Enterprises, a group

of well-seasoned developers and humanitarians took proper and
predominant measures to mend one of the unsolved problems upon
their acquisition.

While the previous owners failed to properly cap natural springs and

provide an adequate drainage system for the road, the conditions
eventually led to a road failure.

Thus, Leed’s team hired a national, top 100-ENR geotech engineering

company ECS (ecslimited.com) who worked in conjunction with local
engineering firm CETech of Franklin, NC, to ecologically resolve the
problem.

The solution: a completely new engineered roadway and a repurposing

of the road failure which was left in its natural state. This was done
to show that the reports of a “landslide on the mountain” could
be disproven.

To date, there has never been a land slide in the

development. The developers have been implementing adequate
maintenance on the drainage system for 7 miles of roadway throughout
the development.

Thanks to the mentality of the developers, The Wildflower developers continued the expansion of the resort with two new phases, The Ridges and Timberridges in the Fall of 2013.

Currently these two phases have 12 home sites under construction that will serve as homes for some, and weekend get-a-ways for others.

The development claims some of the most luxurious amenities in the Southeast with a 6,000 square-foot clubhouse complete with a fitness center and heated saltwater pool.

With decadent décor,, the clubhouse is the perfect setting for an event and a

whimsical dream for the wedding of you always wished for.

With 5 miles of walking trails, a trout pound and even three dormant gem minds, this property is filled with rarities and uniqueness.

And with four different gated entrances, convenience is at a click of your gate opener.

Just 15 minutes from Harris casino in Cherokee, North Carolina and 10 minutes

from downtown, every stranger is really a neighbor in this opportune community.
